Our ranch, Rancho Las Tinajas, is located at Carretera Hermosillo–Nogales km 105 (90 miles south of the Nogales border) in the Sonora region of Mexico. We personally coordinate all travel logistics, including meeting you at Hermosillo International Airport (HMO) in Sonora, Mexico or Tucson International Airport (TUS) in Tucson, Arizona for a seamless and escorted arrival and departure.
Rancho Las Tinajas is carefully managed for strong genetics, mature age classes, and high-quality nutrition to ensure bucks and rams reach their full potential. For Mule Deer, hunters can expect mature bucks scoring between 180" and 200"+ Boone & Crockett. Our Desert Bighorn sheep consistently reach record-book quality, averaging 165" to 180"+. Coues Deer (the elusive 'Gray Ghost') are also exceptional, with mature bucks frequently scoring 95" to 110"+.
All hunting packages are fully loaded: they include high-end ranch lodging, chef-prepared meals and open bar, 1x1 guiding by local experts, custom ground transportation within Sonora, field trophy care (skinning and caping), and expert assistance with firearm permits, tags, and export paperwork.
No. While we maintain a nearly perfect success rate and have never had a client go home empty-handed or without trophy encounters, fair-chase hunting is never guaranteed. Wildlife patterns, weather conditions, and hunter movement play major roles in any hunt. However, our carefully managed habitat, strict hunter quotas, and seasoned guides guarantee you the best possible opportunity to harvest a record-class trophy.
